Questions before you connect
What does Shopsterra access in my Shopify store?
Read-only access through Shopify's official OAuth: orders, products, analytics and shipping data. Shopsterra never edits products, orders or customers.
How is net profit calculated?
Revenue minus refunds, product cost (COGS), shipping, payment fees, ad spend and other costs you enter. The formula is the same one used in the free profit calculator, so you can check it against your own numbers first.
Which ad platforms can I connect?
Meta Ads and Google Ads. Spend is matched to the same period as your orders so ad cost lands in the right place.
Is it really free?
Shopsterra is free during beta, with no credit card. Paid plans are $49 a month (Growth) and $129 a month (Pro), flat, and do not change as your revenue grows.
Do I have to enter product costs by hand?
You enter COGS once per product. Products with no cost entered yet are flagged, so you know when profit may be understated.
