Triple Whale Pricing: What It Actually Costs at $2M GMV (and How to Find Your Number)

Triple Whale prices by annual GMV and plan, and the page for larger stores often says to book a demo. Here is what is publicly known, what is not, and how to judge the cost against your profit.

Triple Whale Pricing: What It Actually Costs at $2M GMV (and How to Find Your Number)

If you search for Triple Whale pricing, you find a mix of vendor pages, review sites and affiliate posts that disagree with each other. That is not an accident. Triple Whale does not charge one flat price. It charges by the plan you pick and by your store's annual GMV, and at larger sizes the price is quoted rather than printed.

We make a competing product, so treat this as one side of the story. We have kept to what is publicly stated and flagged what we could not verify.

What Triple Whale says publicly

As of the last time we checked Triple Whale's own pricing page (July 2026), the structure looked like this:

  • A free plan at $0 a month
  • Foundation from $219 a month
  • Automate from $749 a month
  • Enterprise by contacting sales
  • Add-ons priced separately, for example Retention from $19 a month and Conversion from $79 a month

Triple Whale states that price scales with your annual GMV and the package you choose. Paid plans run on 12-month subscriptions, billed monthly or annually.

Third-party sources checked in October 2026 describe the $219 Foundation price as applying to stores under roughly $250k in annual GMV, with prices rising from there. One snapshot lists Foundation at about $1,129 a month for stores doing $5M to $7.5M a year. These figures come from review sites, not from Triple Whale, and they change.

So what does it cost at $2M GMV?

We could not find a verified public price for a $2M store, and we are not going to guess one. Because the price is tied to GMV, the honest answer is that it is somewhere well above the entry price and below the figures quoted for multi-million-dollar brands, and the exact number comes from Triple Whale.

Here is how to get a real number:

  1. Use the GMV selector on the pricing page if one is shown, or book the demo it points to.
  2. Ask for the price at your current GMV and at 1.5x and 2x that figure, so you know what growth does to your bill.
  3. Ask whether the 12-month term can be cancelled early, and what happens at renewal.
  4. Ask what each add-on costs for your store, since add-ons are priced separately.

Judge the price against profit, not revenue

A tool's price looks different depending on what you compare it to. Take a hypothetical store at $2M a year:

  • Revenue: about $167,000 a month
  • Net margin: 10 percent, so about $16,700 a month in profit

If a tool costs $1,000 a month, that is roughly 6 percent of that profit. At a 5 percent margin, the same tool is about 12 percent of profit. These are illustrative numbers, not a quote from any vendor. The point is the method: divide the monthly cost by your real monthly profit.

That raises the obvious question: do you know your real monthly profit? Our free Shopify profit calculator gives you a first number in a couple of minutes from figures you already have.

What you are paying for

Triple Whale is built around attribution modeling, pixel tracking, creative analytics and cohort reporting. If you run a large paid media operation with a team that uses those features every week, the price can be justified.

If what you need is to answer "did I make money last month after ads, refunds, COGS, shipping and fees," most of that tooling goes unused. That is a narrower problem, and it is priced differently elsewhere in the market.

Alternatives, briefly

  • Shopify Analytics is included with Shopify but does not know your ad spend, and only knows product cost if you fill in cost per item.
  • Order-based profit apps such as BeProfit and TrueProfit scale with order volume instead of GMV. Check current pricing on their listings.
  • Lifetimely has a free tier and focuses on customer lifetime value and cohorts.
  • Shopsterra is flat at $49 a month for the Growth plan and $129 a month for Pro, and is free during beta. It is aimed at stores doing $200k to $2M a year that want one clear profit number.

For a side-by-side with how each one prices, see the comparison of Shopify profit tracking tools, and for a longer breakdown, Triple Whale alternatives for Shopify stores under $2M GMV.

Before you sign anything

Whatever tool you choose, check these four things:

  • Does it count all of your ad spend, or only spend that carries attribution?
  • How does it handle COGS that change over time? See how to track COGS in Shopify.
  • Does it treat refunds correctly, including fees you do not get back? See how refunds hit your margins.
  • What happens to the price when your store grows, and what is the contract length?

Prices on this page change. Confirm current figures on each vendor's own pricing page before you decide.
